Profile and travel preferences
Photo, first name, surname, phone with prefix, language, currency, departure airport and interests — field by field.
What this is for
Your profile is your card in Airsockfly.
Personal details help us fill in forms and send confirmations. Preferences help us pick better offers — for example we start the search from your airport.
Who it is for
For every logged-in customer.
What you see
The "My profile" page
The title "My profile" and the line "Your details and travel preferences.". An "Edit profile" button.
Three cards:
- Personal details — First name, Surname, E-mail address, Phone. An empty field says "Not provided". A confirmed address carries an "E-mail confirmed" badge, an unconfirmed one "E-mail not confirmed".
- Preferences — Language, Currency, Departure airport, Interests.
- Account access — the links "Change password", "Passkeys", "Active sessions" and the note "You will add traveller details during booking.".
The "Edit profile" page
The subtitle: "Manage your details and preferences. This helps us match offers to your needs.".
Step by step
The "Profile photo" section
Description: "Add your photo so you are easier to recognise on your account.". The "Add photo" button. Hint: "Optional. JPG, PNG, max 5 MB.". While uploading you see "Uploading… 40%". When the file is too big: "The file is too large. The maximum size is 10 MB.". When something fails: "The file could not be uploaded. Try again.". You remove the photo with the "Remove image" button. Note: uploading files needs JavaScript turned on — without it you will see "Uploading files requires JavaScript.".
The "Personal details" section
First name — required. Example: Anna. At most 100 characters.
Errors: "Enter your first name", "At most 100 characters".
Surname — required. Example: Kowalska.
Errors: "Enter your surname", "At most 100 characters".
E-mail address — we show it, but you cannot change it in this form. Next to it there is a "Change address" link that takes you to the "Account access and security" card in "Settings", and a "Verified" badge.
Changing the e-mail address — step by step
Your e-mail address is your login, so we change it in two steps and behind a password confirmation. That way someone who sits down at your open computer cannot move the account to themselves.
- Go to "Settings" (or click "Change address" in your profile — it leads to the same place).
- In the "Account access and security" card find the "E-mail address" row and click "Change address".
- Enter the new e-mail address and your password. Click "Send confirmation".
- You will see "Check your inbox" — the message goes to your current address.
- Open that message and click "Confirm the change". You land on the "E-mail address change" page.
- Now we send a second message — to the new address. Open it and click the link.
- Only now is your sign-in address changed. The status page shows the new account address.
Until you click the second link you sign in with the old address. Nothing is broken — the change is simply not finished yet.
Errors you may see: "Enter a valid e-mail address", "This is already your e-mail address", "Invalid password", "Too many attempts. Wait a moment and try again.".
If a link expires or has already been used, the status page shows the error code and suggests starting the change again — we will send a fresh link.
In the mobile app you do the same on the "Settings" screen → the "E-mail address" row → "Change".
Phone number (optional) — the field has two parts.
The first is a list of prefixes: +48, +44, +49, +420, +380, +1. +48 (Poland) by default.
The second is the number itself, digits only, from 6 to 15. Example: 501234567. Do not type spaces or dashes.
Error: "Enter a valid phone number (6–15 digits)".
Why: so a partner can contact you on your departure day and so we can text you about a disruption.
The "Travel preferences" section
Description: "Adjust your settings to get better matched offers.".
Language — Polski or English. This is the language of the site and of e-mails.
Error: "Choose a language".
Currency — PLN (zł), EUR (€), USD ($), GBP (£), CHF, CZK (Kč). This is the display currency. The charge is always in zloty.
Error: "Choose a currency".
Preferred airport — one of: Warszawa (WAW), Kraków (KRK), Gdańsk (GDN), Katowice (KTW), Poznań (POZ), Wrocław (WRO).
Error: "Choose an airport".
Why: the search box and inspiration start from that city.
Your interests (choose what interests you most) — tick boxes: City break, Beach, Nature, Family. You can tick several or none.
At the end: the "Save changes" button, "Cancel" next to it, and under them the note "The changes apply to your Airsockfly account.".
What happens next
After saving you will see "Profile saved" and go back to the "My profile" page with the new details.
The language and currency from your profile take effect straight away — also when you come in from another device.
We store the phone number as one string with the prefix, for example +48501234567. Next time you open the form we split it back into the list and the field.
Frequent questions
I cannot change my e-mail in the form. Why? Your e-mail address is your login, so we change it a separate way — in "Settings", behind your password and two confirmation links. Click "Change address" next to the field.
I clicked the first link and the address did not change. That is by design. The first link (from the old inbox) only confirms that it is you asking for the change. The change happens after you click the second link — from the new inbox.
I did not get the second message. Check the spam folder on the new address. If there is still nothing, start the change again — we will send fresh links.
I typed the wrong new address. What now? Nothing happened: without a click on the link in that inbox your account address does not change. Just repeat the change with the correct address.
Is the phone number obligatory? No. The field is called "Phone number (optional)". It is still worth giving — with a flight disruption a text message arrives faster than an e-mail.
I typed a number with spaces and got an error.
Type digits only, without spaces, dashes or brackets. Example: 501234567.
Does changing the currency change what I will pay? No. It only changes how the numbers look. You always pay in zloty.
I cannot see my airport in the list. The list holds six Polish airports. Search for other cities normally in the search box — the preference only suggests a starting point.
