How to search for an offer

What this is for

The search box is your first tool. You tell it what you are looking for. It shows you offers.

The more carefully you fill in the fields, the better the results.

Who it is for

For everyone. You do not need to be logged in.

What you see

At the very top of the home page there is a large picture and the words "The world is waiting. You choose." Below it is the search box.

The search box has five tabs: Flights, Hotels, Tours, Cars, Insurance. When you click a tab, the form fields change. Each kind of travel needs different information.

Step by step

Flights

1. Trip type — choose "Round trip", "One way" or "Multi-city".
2. From — type the city you fly out of. Start typing, for example "Wars". A list of hints appears. Each hint says "city" or "airport". Click the right one. If you do not pick from the list, the search may find nothing.
3. To — the same. You can also choose "Anywhere" if you want to see different destinations.
4. Swap from and to — a small arrow between the fields. Click it if you mixed up the order.
5. Dates — click the field and pick dates in the calendar. For a round trip you pick two dates: departure and return.
6. Travellers and class — a small window with counters opens. You set "Adults", "Children", "Infants (under 2)" and "Class" (Economy, Premium, Business). At the end click "Done".
7. Direct only — tick this if you do not want stopovers.
8. Flexible dates ±3 days — tick this if you could fly one or three days earlier or later. A small table with prices for nearby days will then appear above the results.
9. More options — opens extra fields: baggage, number of stops, airlines, budget per person, "Include nearby airports".
10. Click Search flights.

Multi-city flights

Choose "Multi-city" when you want to visit several places one after another — for example fly from Warsaw to Barcelona, then to Rome, and home from Rome.

Instead of one route and one set of dates you get a list of legs. Each leg is one flight:

1. In the "Leg 1" row fill in From, To and When.
2. Click Add a leg to add the next row. Fill it in the same way.
3. The cross next to a row removes that leg.
4. Click Search flights.

Rules the form enforces:

• there must be at least 2 legs and at most 6,
• the departure and destination airport of one leg must be different,
• the dates must follow each other — a leg cannot depart before the previous one (the same day is fine).

If something is missing, a red message appears under the field and we do not take you to the results — you fix it and click again.

In the result list every offer shows all legs, one under another, with the date, times and number of stops. The price is per person for the whole trip, not per leg.

Nearby airports

Under "More options" there is a "Include nearby airports" checkbox. Tick it when you could fly out of another airport in the area.

We then search not only the airport you typed, but also airports within about 100 kilometres — on both ends of the route. For Warsaw that is Modlin, for London Gatwick or Luton, for Barcelona Girona.

What you will see:

• above the results a line saying "We also searched nearby airports" with the list of airports we checked,
• on an offer from another airport a blue label, for example "Departs from Warsaw Modlin (WMI) instead of Warsaw Chopin (WAW)".

That way you can see straight away that the cheaper offer leaves from somewhere else — and decide whether getting there is worth it.

We take at most two alternative airports on each end (the closest ones), so the search does not take forever.

Hotels

• Place — a city or region, for example "Barcelona".
• Check-in and Check-out — the day you arrive and the day you leave.
• Guests and rooms — the number of adults, children and rooms.
• Tune your stay — price per night, guest rating, standard (stars), property type, amenities.
• Click Search hotels.

Tours

• Destination, Departure from, Dates (month), Travellers, Length of stay (3–5 nights, 7 nights, 10–14 nights), Board.
• Click Search tours.

Cars

• Pick-up location and Drop-off location.
• Pick-up date and Drop-off date.
• Driver age — this matters, because younger drivers sometimes pay more.
• Budget per day (PLN) — for example 250.
• Click Search cars.

Insurance

• Travel destination, Cover start, Cover end, Type of cover.
• Ages of travellers — type numbers separated by commas, for example 34, 32, 7.
• Click Calculate premium.

What happens next

A results page opens. Your choices are saved in the page address. That means you can send the address to someone else or come back to it later.

Above the results you can see a summary of your choices. Next to it is a "Change" button — it goes back to the form without losing your data.

Frequent questions

Why did it find nothing? Most often because the "From" or "To" field was not chosen from the hint list. Type it again and click a hint.

Does an infant pay for a flight? Infants under 2 fly on a carer's lap and are not counted in the price. We say this under the results.

What does "Flexible dates ±3 days" mean? We also check three days before and three days after your date. Sometimes moving one day is much cheaper.

What should I do when place hints do not load? You see the text "Looking for places…". If nothing arrives, check your internet and try again. You can also type just the city name and click search.

Why is there no "Flexible dates" for multi-city? Flexible dates shift one departure date. In a trip with several legs it is not clear which one — so we do not send that option there.

I ticked "nearby airports" but there are no more results. Why? Either there is no other airport with scheduled flights within 100 km, or the alternative airports have no connections on your dates. The line above the results says which airports we checked.

Can I search without giving dates? For flights and hotels dates are needed, because without them the price cannot be worked out. If you have no dates yet, use "Inspiration" — there you give a budget, not an exact day.
