How to read the search results

Offer cards, badges, providers, the "≈" price, sorting, filters and the hotel map with "Search this area".

What this is for

The results are a list of offers. Each offer sits in its own frame. We call that frame a card.

This article teaches you what the words on the cards mean and how to narrow the list down.

Who it is for

For everyone who clicked "Search".

What you see

The header

At the top there is a title, for example "Flights Warsaw → Barcelona" or "Your stay in Barcelona". Below it you can see how many offers we found, for example "24 properties found".

Sometimes a yellow bar appears saying "Some partners did not answer — the results may be incomplete." That means one company did not answer in time. Refresh the page in a moment.

Another bar says: "The price may have changed — we will confirm it before booking." Flight and hotel prices change even within minutes.

At the bottom you can see where the data comes from: "Live prices from partners." or "Demo data — sample prices.".

The offer card

On the card you will find:

  • The name — a hotel, an airline or a car model.
  • The price — a big number. Under it there is a note about what the price is for: "/ night", "/ person", "/ day", "total for 2 people".
  • Badges — small coloured labels. For example "Best pick", "Free cancellation", "Breakfast", "Unlimited km", "Direct".
  • The provider — the words "Provider: …". That is the company selling this offer.
  • A heart — click it to save the offer for later.
  • A button — "See details", "Choose a room", "See offer".

The "≈" price

If you switch the currency to something other than the zloty, an sign appears in front of the amount. It means "about". The charge is always in zloty.

Step by step

  1. Sort. Above the list there is a "Sort by" field. You can choose "Recommended", "Price: lowest first", "Price: highest first", "Top rated". Flights also have "Best", "Cheapest", "Fastest".
  2. Set filters. Filters are on the side (on a phone under the "Filters" button). Each kind of travel has its own:
    • Flights: price per person, airline, number of stops, departure time, baggage included, class.
    • Hotels: price per night, guest rating, number of stars, amenities.
    • Tours: budget, length of stay, board, hotel standard, amenities.
    • Cars: price per day, car class, gearbox, fuel, mileage limit.
    • Insurance: premium, type of cover, variant, deductible (the part of the cost you pay yourself).
  3. Clear the filters when the list is empty. The button is called "Clear filters".
  4. Turn on the map (hotels only). Click "See on the map".
  5. Click an offer. A details page will open.

What happens next

Filters and sorting are saved in the page address. You can send that address to a friend and they will see exactly the same thing.

The hotel map

On the map every hotel is a pin with the price per night. When hotels are close together, the pins join into a circle with a number — zoom in to separate them.

When you move the map, a "Search this area" button appears. Click it and the list will show only the hotels from the visible part of the map. At the top you will see "Results limited to the selected area.". To go back to all of them, click "Show all results".

You can also drive the map with the keyboard: arrows move it, + and zoom, Tab steps through the pins, Enter opens an offer.

The map is Google Maps. The mouse wheel scrolls the page — to zoom with the wheel, hold Ctrl ( on a Mac). You can always use the + and buttons in the top right corner of the map.

If the map does not load (a script blocker in the browser, for example), you will see "Map unavailable" and a list of the offers with a location below it. The results keep working — nothing is missing.

Frequent questions

Why is the same offer at two providers for different prices? Because two different companies sell the same hotel or flight. The conditions may differ too. Use the comparison tool to see them side by side.

What does "Best pick" mean? It is our suggestion. We look at the price and the travel time together, not just the lowest price.

There are no results at all. What now? You will see "No offers for these filters" and a "Clear filters" button. Raising the maximum price or allowing a stopover usually helps.

Can I trust the guest ratings? Ratings come from providers and from reviews by our travellers. Reviews by our customers carry a "Verified trip" badge.

I see "Map unavailable". What now? You broke nothing. That is what the map looks like when the browser or the network will not let Google Maps through (often a script-blocking extension or a firewall at work). The result list, the filters and booking all work normally; under the message there is a list of the offers with a location.

Why are some hotels missing from the map? The map only shows offers that have coordinates. When the provider did not give them, the hotel is on the list but not on the map. If no offer has coordinates you will see "No offer has a location to show on the map.".
