What this is for

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser.

They let the site recognise you. You do not have to log in at every booking step, and your basket does not get lost between pages.

For everyone who visits Airsockfly.

What you see

The full rules are on the "Cookie policy" page (the "Cookie settings" link in the footer). The page has seven sections.

Alongside cookies we also use related technologies: browser local storage and session identifiers. In the policy we call them all "cookies".

Step by step

Our cookie categories

1. Essential cookies

Without them the site will not work. They need no consent — we always save them.

They handle:

• keeping your login session,
• remembering your language (NEXT_LOCALE) and currency (NEXT_CURRENCY),
• form security,
• carrying your booking basket between steps,
• balancing traffic between servers and protecting against abuse, for example automated form submissions.

2. Analytics cookies

They help us understand how you use the site: which filters get used, at which booking step difficulties appear and how quickly results load.

We analyse the data in aggregate to improve the product. We save these cookies only after your consent.

3. Marketing cookies

They are used to show more relevant Airsockfly adverts on other sites and to measure campaign effectiveness, including settlements with partners.

We save them only after your consent. Withholding consent does not limit any feature of the service — you will just see less relevant adverts.

4. Partner and third-party cookies

Some parts of the site are delivered by outside companies: the payment operator, image hosting, analytics tools and advertising networks. They may save their own cookies under their own policies.

When you go from Airsockfly to a partner's site, their rules apply there. It is worth reading them before you give payment details.

How to change your consents

You change consents for analytics and marketing cookies:

• in the consent banner we show on your first visit,
• in the privacy settings of your account.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Remember though: blocking essential cookies will make logging in and finishing a booking impossible.

Withdrawing consent works going forward. It does not affect the lawfulness of processing we did earlier.

What happens next

How long we keep cookies

• Session cookies — they disappear when you close your browser.
• Site preferences (language, currency) — up to 12 months.
• Analytics cookies — up to 12 months.
• Marketing cookies — up to 6 months.

Marketing consent versus cookies

These are two different things. Do not mix them up:

• Marketing cookies are about adverts shown on other sites.
• Marketing consent in your profile is about e-mails from us. You flip it in "Settings" with the "Inspiration and promotions" switch.

We record every marketing consent change in your consent history. You will see it in your GDPR data export file, in the consentLogs section.

Frequent questions

Can I use Airsockfly without cookies? Without essential cookies — no. You then cannot log in or carry your basket between booking steps. Without analytics and marketing cookies — yes, everything works normally.

Do cookies read the files on my computer? No. A cookie is just a short piece of text that the browser sends back to the same site. It has no access to your files or programs.

Where do I delete cookies in my browser? In your browser settings, in the section about privacy and site data. Every browser names it slightly differently, but you can always clear site data.

I changed my mind about marketing consent. What now? Turn the "Inspiration and promotions" switch off in "Settings" and click "Save settings". From then on we will not send you advertising. Messages about your bookings will still arrive, because they are needed to deliver the service.

Do cookies remember my password? No. Cookies hold information about your logged-in session, not the password itself.
